I am disappointed with my experience after purchasing my 2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy from Luther Burnsville Hyundai. Before taking delivery, I identified a visible paint defect that had to be documented on a “We Owe” form. While my salesperson, Isaiah, was helpful and worked with management to acknowledge the issue, the overall vehicle delivery experience fell well below my expectations for a new vehicle, especially a flagship SUV. The vehicle did not appear to have been properly detailed before delivery. I found dead ants, marks on the seats, and later noticed significant dust and dirt buildup along the window channels when I lowered the windows. These issues made me question whether a proper pre-delivery inspection and detailing process had been completed. It has now been several days since delivery, and I have not received any follow-up regarding the paint repair or next steps. However, I have received multiple requests to complete a customer satisfaction survey before the outstanding issues have been addressed. I am a returning customer and previously purchased my 2024 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid from this same dealership. That positive experience is one of the reasons I returned. Unfortunately, this experience has been disappointing, not because of the salesperson, but because of the dealership’s lack of communication, quality control, and delivery preparation. I hope the dealership will proactively reach out, resolve the paint issue, and restore confidence in the customer experience.
